About Me

Andrew Murphy is a Principal and Co-Founder of Highgate Partners based in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Murphy is responsible for the overall growth of the firm’s healthcare portfolio as well as managing the existing portfolio including investor relations.  Andrew has twenty-two years of commercial real experience with a primary specialty in healthcare real estate.  Throughout his twenty-two year career, Andrew has been involved in over $3 billion of transactions.

Since founding Highgate Partners with his business partner, Beau Terrell, Highgate Partners has acquired over $400 million of healthcare assets comprised of 2 million square feet and located in nine (9) states.  In addition, Murphy and Terrell lead the overall direction of the firm’s investment strategy as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations at the firm.

Prior to joining Highgate Partners, Andrew was a Senior Vice President at Ackerman & Co. where he ran the healthcare investment sales team.  During his seven-year tenure at Ackerman, Mr. Murphy was a continuous top three producer and was recognized as Ackerman’s top producer in 2012 and 2013.

Prior to joining Ackerman in late 2010, Murphy was Vice President at Carter & Associates. Murphy also spent five years with CB Richard Ellis’s Atlanta Private Client Group and their financial consulting group, underwriting $6 billion of real estate assets on the Eastern seaboard.

Andrew resides in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
