About Me

Beau founded Highgate Partners in 2013 where he co-steers the investment arm of the firm in addition to being the managing broker for the brokerage division. Beau began his real estate career with Carter & Associates in 2004 where we he specialized as an investment sales and land broker.  After his time at Carter, Beau moved to Major & Arroll in 2010 where his focus on investment sales remained.  In the Spring of 2013, Beau founded Highgate Partners in order to start a brokerage company to complement his principal focus of acquiring medical office properties throughout the country.

Since Highgate’s inception, Beau, along with his business partner (Andrew Murphy), have overseen the acquisition of 77 medical office buildings.  These acquisitions total in excess of $340,000,000.  The return on investment to Highgate’s investors has allowed Highgate to grow the “fund” and its portfolio not only in size (square footage under management), but also in total equity and geographic footprint (9 states).  Through Beau’s leadership, Highgate has  found continued success in identifying off-market deals that have a strong value-add component.  Beau’s team works with third-party leasing and management teams in order to stabilize and compress the CAP rates of each asset prior to disposition.  The track record has led to Highgate becoming the most active non-institutional medical office buyer in the Southeast.  Highgate’s niche of acquiring sub-institutional medical office buildings in the shadow of a hospital campus has allowed the team to acquire approximately $100,000,000 of assets on an annual basis.

Beau credits his faith, contacts, team, and business partner (Andrew Murphy) for accomplishing the business plan that Highgate set forward at inception.  An Atlanta native, Beau attended The Westminster Schools prior to graduating from The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.  Beau’s community involvement include sitting on the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Board of Advisors as well as active roles in the Atlanta Mission and the Potter’s House.  Beau and his wife currently reside in Athens, Georgia with their five-year-old daughter and two-year-old son.
